Historical account
• As shown by these dates, my réflections about this
theme began indeed rather long time ago. The very beginning is since
about 1967 when, pupil in science sixth form, I have studied special
relativity (in a book discovered by good fortune in the municipal
library) ; but principally afterwards when, thesis studient at CEA in
elementary particle physics, I had the opportunity to attend to many
séminars and conferences (CNRS, CERN,
Gif sur Yvette summer school...) since about 1975.
Some of my conclusions come from this period. Some others came
afterwards in addition, very progressively since this research does not
constitute my main activity
(when the thesis studient I was started to propound his ideas on this
subject, he began to hear some comments like : “no, you will not
venture upon this kind of work too, there is already enough with [so-and-so] who sinks into far
delirium...” ; brief : even for a student rather brilliant and armoured
with diploma, no possible job in this way ; wishing to earn my living
while trying to make myself useful, I then choosed the profession of
teacher).
The lonely research work has the advantage to incline to explore some
more original ways, allowing less influence from “argumentations” which
have been so much heard of that one is no more able to leave them (of
the kind : “it is
generally assumed that...”). It has the disadvantage to
progress very more slowly (I don't devote to that more than half an
hour by week on an average) and to avoid dead-ends with more
difficulty : one risks to end by create its own vicious circles from
which one is no more able to leave.
This is why I have decided to propound my ideas for discussion via the
internet.
